In July and raging with rain and for some not-so-strange reason, a smaller group this time decided to head to a high TN-Kerala border forest point. It was full of obstacles on the drive up, one car nearly got lost, the 2-room forest guest house was dank but hot dinner and spirits protected against the storm that raged all night. It was lunch next day at Coonoor and resuming discussions at (a dry, safe, and @home) Kotagiri thereafter – was Shola a Community of Practice, no perhaps…so let’s trace our networks. Against all odds it was the penance of SF, Almora re-dux – the folly of courting nature with fury!
